WooScan Install Steps
Before you can use our iOS or Android App, you have to install our plugin in your wordpress website.
Follow the next steps to do this the right way.
Step 1: Download our WordPress & Woocommerce Plugin
You can download our WordPress plugin on our website.
Attention: It might be possible that the downloaded .zip file is automatically unzipped. Please check your trashcan for the .zip file or re-zip the folder ‘wooscan’ before you move to step 2.
Step 2: Upload the plugin to your WordPress website
- Go to the admin page of your website (yourdomain.com/wp-admin) and login.
- Click on Plugins in the left panel
- Click on Add New
- Click on Upload plugin
- Click on Choose File and browse to the downloaded wooscan.zip file
- Click on Install Now
Step 3: Activate the plugin
- Click on Plugins on the left menu panel
- Find the WooScan plugin in the Plugins list
- Click on Activate. If you only see Deactivate as an option, the plugin is already activated and you’re good to go.
Step 4: Download the App
Download the App for iOS or Android on your smartphone
Step 5: Login to your website and start scanning
- NOpen the installed app and login with your website login credentials. These are an email address and your password.
If you’re not sure what the login credentials are, please login on your website and check the ‘Users’ section.
- After logging in you are ready to scan your first product. Scan a barcode and the app will search for corresponding products. If no product is found (this is the case when you’ve not set the barcode for a product yet) you will be asked to find the corresponding product.
The next time the app will find your product immediately
